Dr. Jeffrey Amann was born and raised in Wheaton, MN. He completed his undergraduate degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in 1996 and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000. Following dental school, Dr. Amann moved to Spearfish, SD and is the owner of Amann Dental. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association as well as the Black Hills District Dental Society.
Dr. Amann lives in Spearfish with his wife Shawna and together they have four children. In his free time, Dr. Amann enjoys running, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Amann is committed to providing the best possible care for his patients. He will take time to listen to your concerns and looks forward to working together with you to achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
Edward J. Lynch, DDS has been serving the family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implant needs of the Rapid City and the Black Hills area since 1986.
Dr. Lynch graduated from Douglas High School. Went to college at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Dr. Lynch was accepted to the University of Michigan Dental School after 3 years of undergraduate education and graduated from the UofM in 1985.
Dr. Lynch did a general practice residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. After is GPR Dr. Lynch did a mini-residency in DECoD (Dental Education for Care of the Disabled) at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. In 2001 Dr. Lynch did another mini-residency with a world-renowned implant dentist, Dr. Carl Misch, at the Misch International Implant Institute in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Lynch went through “the chairs” as secretary, vice president and president of the Black Hills District Dental Association. Dr. Lynch was also active at the state level of the Sout Dakota Dental Association (SDDA) for almost 20 years, finally going through the chairs as secretary, vice president, president-elect and president. During that time Dr. Lynch was on numerous committees, chairing several, including being on an SDDA committee that worked with the SD Board of Dentistry in a major overhaul of the SD State Dental rules and laws.
While Edward J. Lynch, DDS has worked extensively with the SDDA, the Boy Scouts of America in numerous capacities, including as Scoutmaster for almost 10 years for Troop 72 in Rapid City, the “Jaycees”, and with Camp Friendship (a camp for physically and developmentally disabled people), he is most proud of his family!!!
Dr. Lynch adopted 2 girls, Kaitlynn and Kari. He now has 5 grandchildren (4 boys & 1 girl) ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old. He has a 6th grandchild on the way later this year!!
